About Edmonton
Edmonton is the 6th largest city in Canada and is known as “The Festival City.” There is always a different kind of festival happening every month ranging from street performers in August to the festival of trees in December and the Capital Ex in July. There is always something to see and do in Edmonton. When there are no festivals there are many attractions to go see around the city including the largest shopping mall in North America. Even though ice hockey is the most popular sport in Canada, there are many other live sporting events you can watch throughout the year. If you like the outdoors, Edmonton has one of the largest biking and walking trails in North America and only a few hours drive outside of the city are the beautiful Rocky Mountains, a UNESCO World heritage site. No matter what you enjoy doing, Edmonton has something for you!
